Chris Walker is a seasoned attorney with more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive legal guidance and strategic support in the financial services, mortgage, and real estate sectors as in-house counsel. Throughout his career, Chris has been recognized as a trusted advisor to business executives, leaders, and individuals in the mortgage industry.
His extensive background includes contract negotiation, litigation strategy, and regulatory compliance. The skills he has honed—attention to detail, risk management, and long-term strategic thinking—now allow him to draft precise estate planning documents, anticipate potential challenges, and safeguard his clients’ wealth with confidence.
Chris, the son of a Vietnam veteran and retired Master Chief in the United States Navy, has been a lifelong resident of the Hampton Roads area, moving there with his family at the age of three. He graduated from high school in Virginia Beach and went on to earn both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Old Dominion University, followed by his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law.
He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Chris resides in the Hampton Roads area with his wife of twenty-three years. Together they have two adult children and a three-year-old American Pitbull Terrier named Bandit.

John is the leader of the Working Group on International Taxation & EU Harmonization in UK at the American Chamber of Commerce. He is also the Committee Head of the Permanent Scientific Committee of IFA. During 2011 John served as the Co-Chair of the Tax Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce and was the member of the working group on VAT reform at the Ministry of Finance of United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Attorna, John worked in the UK of an international law firm.
